A walk in the park.

Today my wife and I went for a nice long walk in the park, one of my favorite things to do when we don't have a dozen other things going on. I decided that I wanted to get a few images of some of my favorite things so I brought along the camera. After we got home and I downloaded the images it turned out that a few were not so bad so I wanted to share them with everyone, hope you enjoy.

P.S. Now that the situation with my mothers illness has come to its sad but ultimate conclusion, I will be putting up new posts and a more regular schedule. I have a number of great topics lined up.

We had never seen this before. I had no idea Chicago had a connection to the Boston Tea Party.

I love ducks...and my thumb a little bit.

You read the last caption right?
These are from the gardens by the duck pond.
What, they're not ducks.

This shot turned out quite nice I think.

There is a special part of the ponds just for rowers, I love that.
Who puts graffiti on a tree..honestly, who?
These are part of a art installation. More to follow.
Following quickly apparently.
This kid was hiding from..the soccer team, the Hulk, sanity?
Scary soccer team.
I love church steeples, I love dark clouds, I love forming patterns.

The dome of a wonderful Elks Lodge.
On the 151 almost home. The Red Line stop by our apartment.
At our stop..waving good-bye with my foot.

I'm sorry, I took a ton of pictures of ducks.
